Welcome to United FC and our soccer family. We are proud of our organization and each day we aim to add to our young but certainly storied history. We point to several recent developments on and off the field, and feel confident in continually adding bricks to the foundation of our club already yielding so many positive results for players and families within our soccer club.

Jesse Marsch Named to U.S. National Team Coaching Staff
Former United FC Co- Coaching Director and Current Consultant to the United FC Soccer Club Jesse Marsch has been named Assistant Coach for the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team by Head Coach Bob Bradley. The U.S. National Team is preparing for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Marsch, a player in MLS since the league’s inception in 1996, has announced his retirement from Chivas.
Marsch, who holds a USSF ‘A’ license, will join the U.S. Team for training camp beginning Feb. 10th at The Home Depot Center, ahead of the game against El Salvador on Feb. 24th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.
The former midfielder has worked with Bradley since 1992, when he was a freshman at Princeton. In the inaugural MLS season in 1996, Bradley served as Assistant Coach for D.C. United. Marsch was midfielder during their run to the MLS Cup Title and started a three-year successive league title run for both men.
In 1998, Bradley took the reins of the expansion team the Chicago Fire. Marsch along with Bradley helped the club complete its historic double win for both the U.S. Open Cup and the MLS Cup. When Bradley took over as Head Coach of Chivas USA, Bradley acquired Marsch and went on to make 106 appearances in four seasons.
Marsch has made a lasting impact on the United FC program and the kids in the club. Marsch was engaged in the community, training United FC kids at MahoneMiddle School or PetzkePark for hours at a time during his stint with the Chicago Fire. Marsch helped carve out the United FC Mission, always focused on developing quality people and good soccer players.
Marsch was excellent at engaging the players, coaches and parents in the club. By the end of every training session Jesse knew the name of every player. He took a real interest in being there for the kids in the club. Jesse and Steve Domin (United FC Coaching Director and Head Men’s Soccer Coach at CarthageCollege) worked tirelessly to bring all the best parts of Kenosha and Racine Soccer together, both at the Recreational and Select levels. The integration of all the high school coaches into the club, the free USSF Coaching Education programs offered to staff coaches, and implementing a curriculum which is centered around clean soccer (all while balancing life skills) has been the ultimate mission.
Marsch still provides support for current Director of Coaching Steve Domin. Domin and Marsch both have a passion for developing life skills through soccer. This creates a great working relationship for the community and the kids in the club. "How exciting for our club to have a resource which reaches the highest level of soccer in the world. Jesse has a very unique way of communicating with people about soccer in terms they can identify with. Couple that with local roots, it’s easy to call him a friend and mentor, while balancing a role as a consultant for us and the U.S. National Team” added Domin.
